THE CURE
Join The Dots (B-Sides & Rarities 1978>2001 The Fiction Years)
2004 U.S. 4xCD Compilation
Digibook

It’s days like today that make me feel glad I have my Harman/Kardon 6-Disc changer. What a find!

I first purchased this in 2004 when it came out, while working at an HMV in Harvard Square in Cambridge, Ma (it’s looong gone).
I have no clue what happened to my original one, but that no longer matters.

For an absolute Cure freak like me, this was an absolute treasure trove when it came out. Tons of awesome b-sides, rarities, soundtrack songs and comp tracks from every iteration of the band up to that point.

I’m about to throw the first disc on now, and I’d say the chances of me listening to all four discs straight through tonight sit at around 100%.

My favorite find of the year, hands down.

Tonight, I'm just sorting through my latest retro downloads... mostly stuff I found on the Internet Archive.

And... "Holy cow!" This must be the earliest version of "Microsoft Office" I've ever seen! "WIN OFFICE 1.00". Everything's on 5.25inch disks and it doesn't even have a combined SETUP.EXE yet. You just pick what you want and then you're being thrown into a full-screen DOS session to go through the setup process. It features "Word 1.1", "Excel 2.0d" and "PowerPoint 2.00". This is fun!.. albeit in a strange way.
