petersuber<p>I like to test <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/AI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AI</span></a> tools to see how well they answer factual questions and link to sources. For this purpose, I want to test a wide variety of tools. Among other things, that means I can't afford to pay for premium tiers and can only test the free tiers. For privacy, I only create accounts under pseudonymous email addresses. </p><p>A new AI tool just offered me a free trial of its premium edition, provided I sign up with an email address containing my real name. I declined. Two questions:</p><p>1. Why would it insist that I sign up under my real name? Is this a tip-off that its business model includes user surveillance? </p><p>2. Am I cutting off my nose to spite my face? I know I could sign up with my real name, ask innocuous test questions, and then either drop the tool or create a separate account under a pseudonym. <a href="https://fediscience.org/tags/AITA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AITA</span></a>?</p>

n_to<p>Seit 2 Tagen ist das Loch im Gartenzaun blockiert, durch das unsere Hühner die Nachbarhühner besuchen und plötzlich finden wir nach wochenlanger Pause wieder täglich Eier im Nest.<br>Wir hatten schon länger den Verdacht, dass unsere Hühner auch mal nebenan legen, aber die Nachbarin meinte stets, bei ihnen wäre auch nichts.
