Finally came around to set up Jellyfin and its companions on my NAS.
Tried Swiftfin on my AppleTV but it wasn't great, now trying Infuse (pro free trial). If it's great, I'll happily pay a few bucks a year.
Wanted to go the Plex (pass) route but I just don't like the idea of its cloud stuff.

Hey #stremio users on here? I recently switched over, and like what I’m getting so far. The one exception is #subtitles I’m not happy with the subtitles at all. There often out of sync, and usually the character set being used are broken. Is there a good subtitle plug-in anyone recommends? Using #jellyfin and #arr stack a lot less since stumbling on Stremio + Debrid service.

After a break, I'm #reviewing for #ARR again this cycle, and I'm deeply concerned. Some reviews, especially the summaries, sound AI-written.
One paper shows such a complete failure to grasp basic linguistic concepts (think, the term "semantics") to be unsalvageable, and apparently has been resubmitted from a previous cycle with new reviewers (what a waste of time). But another reviewer also didn't notice! Undergraduate level stuff! #nlproc #acl

"Art is dead, dude. It’s over. AI won. Humans lost": A controversial artist is reportedly losing millions of dollars because the US Copyright Office refused to register his AI-generated collection — it lacks 'human authorship'
