this first one was taken from a closed off bridge looking at #Cologne tram station Geldernstr./Parkgürtel which has lots of #graffiti around. we'll see more of that.

Can't help it, there's something about abandoned places, that make me want to draw them. Also, this is a great exercise for the comic I'm currently working on.
I recently bought a set of really cheap acrylic markers, which I didn't think much at first. But they turned out to be really amazing! Might post about them a bit more in detail later.

While taking backroads along the western front range of the Wind Rivers in Wyoming I came across an abandoned sheep shearing barn. There were lots of Basque names and drawings (those who know, know what kind of drawings) on the beams inside the building dating as far back as 1935.
Lol--as an art framer (retired) I was freaking drooling when I saw this giant pile of old weathered barn wood!
Abandoned nine-pin bowling alley (Kegelbahn) in the former East #Germany
In the early 1950s this was home ground for the workers of a nearby factory. By the 1970s, they were competing in higher leagues. A new alley was built, replacing this old shabby building.
It continued to serve the town for another 12 years as a casual bowling space, open to all. But by the late 1980s, the doors closed. A once lively venue, was #abandoned to decay.
