My (faulty) perception as a child was that I didn't get into an <a href="https://sigmoid.social/tags/IIT" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#IIT</a> because some undeserving person took my seat. Having met and worked with <a href="https://sigmoid.social/tags/Dalit" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Dalit</a> <a href="https://sigmoid.social/tags/Bahujan" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Bahujan</a> people since, I couldn't have been more wrong. And, I am ashamed.
