When choosing to #Block someone, the warning dialog says they can see you've blocked them.
How do I see who's blocked me? I'd like to relish the offense I've given them.

I see you opened yet another account. I will continue to block each one as you continue to jump to conclusions, and try to start an internet fight.
Respectful disagreements and debates are always welcome but not keyboard warriors exist only to cause conflict on social media.
If you want people to listen to your opinion, try a different approach next time

Perhaps you could have a chat with this person, please? They blocked me before I couldn't send in a report
Thanks.
edit: if you would like insight into what led up to this reply, please feel free to contact me, I would be more than happy to discuss this with you.
I wonder how many people have blocked or muted me here. As far as I'm aware, there is no way of finding out.
I know of three users who have blocked me, but there could be many more. Two of those announced they were going to do so, while I discovered the other block myself.People don't say if they are muting you, so I could be silenced by hundreds! Somebody suggested they were using hashtags to mute my Kpop posts; that's fine with me, as I have no desire to clutter timelines with unwanted material.
I do very little blocking and muting myself. I have blocked and reported a handful of users whose posts were blatantly racist or antisemitic. I also had to do the same to a user who posted what appeared to be child pornography. Generally, however, I try to be as open minded as possible; I don't think it's good for me to hide away from stuff I disagree with or dislike.
I have muted a few users whose posting threatened to overwhelm my timeline. I feel a little bad about that, because they are probably nice people who are unaware that I have chosen to put their passions aside.
Do others block and mute more than I do?

The Fediverse arrived in mainstream! Today, I had to report a "prince" as fraudster (follows especially women and bots). Unfortunately, he is not from Nigeria.
Report before blocking: this protects others and moderators can suspend fake-accounts. This fraudster is known from big platforms, and no, the real one would never ask you for friendship!
May he find Nicole soon. (BTW, therefore, I have disabled automatic following).

Now, that you mention it,... I had seen this def a long time ago.
Not being on #TechnoFeudalist media has its disadvantages at times.
OK, so it is a *major* insult, possibly worthy of a #Block.
Why are there still so many posts from both individual posters and entire instances where translation is neither offered nor allowed (http 403 or 503)
Certainly if #Mastodon wants to compete as #SocialMedia on a #GlobalStage translations into the reader's stated Interface Language should be mandatory, unless explicitly prohibited on an individual poster-by-poster basis
What gives?
As it is now, I #Mute and #Block posters who will not let me translate their posts into a language I can read
Why do I want to give up my very finite screen space to posts I'll never be able to read?
I don't, and I won't
I'm on an instance currently running v4.3.7

Why is this not surprising?
On #Sharkey, users have the ability to #block an entire server, as well as admins. A user's block of an entire server doesn't affect any other user on the server.
Admins also have the ability to suspend a server which doesn't affect a users' followers or following lists but effectively "blocks" or defederates the server.
This post, like others, highlights yet another piss-poor designed and implemented "feature" by #Mastodon.

Hebben jullie ook allemaal “Hello friend”- berichtjes de laatste dagen?
I have finally, FINALLY managed to work out a thing that's been bugging me for ages related to #LinkedIn.
I'd been wanting to block someone I used to be connected to after it was revealed, very publicly, that they were in fact a toxic bitch.
I tried doing the normal, disconnected from them and then went to their profile to block – but the block action wasn't there, only report. I thought it was because they had registered as a company or something.
Until I found out today that I was connected to an event they had held a few years ago, and I was still registered as having gone. I left the event and TA-DA!! Blockity blockity block!
Relief!
Now, if only I could do the same for companies and pages...
In chatting with my friend who just joined I thought up a new blessing for us:
