Dommage

A PAX East 2025 Tabletop Round-Up

Just because PAX East isn't a 100% tabletop-dedicated convention doesn't mean I'm going to stop treating it like one. Well, mostly. I did check out some "video" games while at the con, but that will be more of a CHG aperitif. Let's get to the main course first so that I can share the games that caught my eye this past weekend with you: dead gods, burning forests, nighttime escapes and knives in the back, things upon things, and glittering glass! If you have not backed my game yet: now is the last opportunity! ❤️ Every pledge counts, so we can realize the game in the best way possible. 87k sounds like a lot. But after we paid our artists fairly and produced the game in low volume in Germany, it will all be gone. We therefore need every help we can get, so we don't have to "turn each Euro twice" as we say in Germany (meaning to always think twice before spending).

Thank you to anyone who has already supported us! You are amazing and are helping us to realize a dream we started working on 5 years ago. 💚💚💚

"Closed Mondays" is a halfbreed between #TTRPG and #boardgame: Create a #dungeon and an adventure with card decks and a few dice. A #GMless game for as many players as want to. It works for any enclosed space - the "classic dungeon", be it a submarine, spacestation, or a giant monster's insides (or maybe you were shrunk?).

Playtests are welcome!

For Easter, my MIL got us #MyShelfie The Dice Game. Three of us played it for the first time tonight and both times, we almost all scored identical scores. It doesnt seem like there are enough unique combos you can make with the dice so everyone ends up marking the same shelves.

It also seems like the rule stating you can only use one wild per combination really forces people into the same choices.

Are we just missing something?
