Yard crews returned yesterday for a quick run and gun through the neighbor's yard. Sounds like she had to call them to urge them to come do her yard. So, they were not nabbed by feds, but apparently staying off the streets and laying low. They ran through the yard with only two people (versus normally 5) and in half the time, and quickly scooted. #dystopia #fascism

When I was a teenager, I was going through some really hard times. My happy place was Keith's Komix. He would run #babylon5 ccg games every Thursday night. It dropped off once we all went off to college, but we have all stayed in touch through the comic shop, to the point that Keith officiated my wedding 14 years ago.

Keith's is closing next month after 30 years, and tonight we will be having a final B5 game. I am having some very real #feelings atm.

This week's read was "I Who Have Never Known Men" by Jacqueline Harpman. Again dystopian book, which begins with an interesting setup with a lot of open questions. Throughout the book I was admiring the resilience and the strength of the main character.

Fine, off to go buy a new small fridge, wish me luck in avoiding tear gas and pepperballs. (Update: fairly quiet here, thankfully, and just about no one at Lowes.
