📢 Today’s the day! #genomDESymposium 2025 kicks off in Berlin.
We’re proud to co-host with TMF, @bfarm_de and @deNBI – bringing together voices from care, research, infrastructure, policy & patient advocacy.

Session 1: Where the genomDE model project stands today
🧬 What are the first experiences from the clinic?
🧬What infrastructure do we need?
🧬 How do we center patients?
🧬 How can this be linked other data sets?

Beispiele? Die Programme von @hermes_datenkompetenzzentrum und @NFDI4Memory – schnell, effektiv, wirksam.

Scientists "need to be made aware that this [open science] is not up for debate"

"I’ve been convinced over the years that the carrot only approach doesn’t work. So we need a stick."

"a paper is just paid advertisement for your work."

It's always a pleasure to listen to JK and the current episode of The Knowledge Catalyst is no exception: Jean-Karim Heriché: #OpenScience must be the standard for modern research

euroscipy.orgEuroSciPy 2025 ScheduleThe EuroSciPy meeting is a cross-disciplinary gathering focused on the use and development of the Python language in scientific research.

Tom Plasterer was instrumental in the creation of the #FAIRdata principle, the idea - driven by the introduction of the #semanticWeb - that data should be findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable.

From its origins in the semantic web community, scientific research, and the pharmaceutical industry, FAIR has since been widely adopted in academia, research, industry, and enterprises of all kinds.

Hope you enjoy this conversation as much as we did.

As I found out the videos of the 2nd #Base4NFDI roadshow are now online. If you are interested in #ontology or #terminology integration to web services you could have a look into our demo presentation about the #Terminology Service Suite (TSS). We integrated there two widgets of the TSS to a data repository and created in this way a #semantic search engine and #FAIRdata
