My current impression is that this money doesn't really go in that direction.</p>
Karl Voit :emacs: :orgmode:<p>Too bad that you can't test the theme feature of <a href="https://graz.social/tags/GNOME" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GNOME</span></a> on a live distro since setting up "gnome-shell-extensions" requires a reboot to enable it.</p><p>Edit: it wasn't the "gnome-shell-extensions", reboot was required for enabling "User Themes" (via Extensions).</p><p>Edit2: logout+login was sufficient instead of a reboot.</p><p>However, a logout/login was OK as well and it did work on my Debian live distro again (logout does log you in again right away).</p>

Gradients, drop shadows, brushed metal textures, buttons that look like glass vials full of blue liquid, you name it. GUIs actually looked cool.</p><p>Now custom themes, where they exist at all, are nothing but flat, solid, desaturated colors and rounded rectangles. It's dreadfully boring.</p>
