When I got home and weighed myself, I lost 2+ KG! Funny thing my scale reported my "metabolic age" is now 4 years younger!
This is the first time I ran 50+K on two consecutive Sundays (last Sunday I ran 35.28mi). Next Sunday? Definitely not!

I brought 6 gels and 1.5L electrolyte water. Unfortunately by the 25th mile I drank up all, and had to start walking some of the time to avoid overheating (walk 4min then run at least 5). For a few times I seriously considered asking for some water from bikers, but didn’t. At one point I stopped at a stream and splashed cold mountain water on my head to feel better.

This #LongRunSunday I ran from #SnoqualmiePass southbound on Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail: distance 31.33mi moving time 5:05:18 pace 9’45”/mi. I started at ~9am when temperature was ~63F (17.2C), and by the time I ran past 25th mile mark, it was 74F but felt like 80F (26.7C) under the sun.

If civilization crumbles tomorrow, at least I made my #running distance #PR on this #LongRunSunday: 35.28mi (0.78mi increase) with 1046ft EG! I stopped every 10mi at McDonald's for coffee and pies, and walked several times during steep ascents. Moving time 5:29:48 pace 9'21"/mi, avg/max HR 139/159bpm.

This #LongRunSunday I ran 18.78mi on East #SammamishLake, moving time 2:37:26 pace 8’23”/mi. I pushed at the end with peak pace 6’02"/mi HR 162bpm.
I was practicing #breathing, alternating between in*3+out*2 and in*2+out*1. Notes:
* It took me 4mi to get the hang of it because I was used to even ins and outs.
* At times my mind made up a 5-note melody for the first pattern: A-A-E-C-D. Seems my mind is using pitch to denote intensity of each breath.
