If I actually spent money for a pair of these shorts/cut-offs, someone who knows me well should do a check on me to be sure I still have all my marbles. If I learned a granddaughter thought these shorts were worth the money to buy, I would think I was an utter failure to have not conveyed to them young enough that one can do well without buying brand-name clothing and consider how to make the same thing. Oh, I don't know, maybe by CUTTING OFF a pair of jeans you already own and are worn out.
