Rafael<p>I grew up in Northern New Mexico. In New Mexican Spanish B and V make the same sound. Sorta like R and L in Japanese. So when I speak it sounds a little funny. Like I'm saying vuenos días. That's not really strange in itself. Lots of speakers have something similar. Here's what's really weird. I also speak English where B and V are very distinct.
