Dear #GM fellows. I worked my way through from the overworld (#Nortantis) to city maps and groves (#Watabou) and even created a little #booklet template with #ApplePages so I can write little compendiums to hand out. #CryptPad as the markdown idea writer.
Now I need something more elaborate than the grove generator, so I can create a grove with some tombstones and stuff. What is out there that would work well? #OSS preferred.

Something that can be edited after some random generation would be nice. And it's so much fun, but also a rabbit hole ...

How does the mission of JuliaHub and the new Dyad modeling language interact with the #julialang open source (#OSS) community? In this blog post we go into detail how Dyad is designed to be synergistic with the enabling stronger open source software, giving long-term maintenance structures and show the history of how much of what has evolved in the #sciml community had been created in tandem with the goals here.

Decided the clean up my star list on GitHub, but then all of a sudden an idea pop up: even if I no longer use them, it would still be helpful for others or even help myself if I suddenly still want them

When I complain that some software (or its dependencies) doesn't work on *BSD but requires Linux, I'm not criticizing Linux. For me, it's not an OS battle, but a matter of freedom and avoiding a dangerous and rampant computing monoculture. And when people reply to me with "well, just use it on Linux" - while they're giving me sensible advice - they're missing the crucial point: if it ONLY runs on Linux, it's not Linux's fault, but we are, precisely, creating a dangerous monoculture.

Introducing: BinkyLabs.OpenApi.Overlay a new library to parse and apply OpenAPI overlays in #dotnet !!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

github.com/BinkyLabs/openapi-o

Over the last week, a good friend of mine Matthieu COSTABELLO and I have been hacking away to produce this new library. It's modeled after Microsoft.OpenAPI, parses, serializes and applies overlays to documents.

With overlays, you can maintain patches to #OpenAPI description, extremely useful when your team doesn't "own" the document but needs to maintain only a few changes. Using this library, a host of OpenAPI tools built in #dotnet will be able to support this specification and new feature!

Stay tuned for more projects from BinkyLabs!

Your Exit Strategy Dream Is My Customer Nightmare

I found a promising tool and reached out to the founder, ready to invest and partner up. I was met with a wall of silence. It crystallized a feeling I've had for a while: for many, the exit strategy dream is a nightmare for customers who actually care.
