It's less physically comfortable than not wearing one, but I do it because it is an exceedingly simple way for me to prevent the very real possibility of a horrible death or disablement. </p><p>Of course, masking has the incredible additional benefit of protecting not just yourself, but also other people you come in contact with (and people who they come in contact with!— breaking the chain of transmission can have a big impact). </p><p>Care for yourself and your future self. Care for others more medically vulnerable than you. Do something tangible to fight against the normalization of ableism and eugenics.
