You want moutain lakes ,
Because I have moutain lakes.
Plus a natural crystal clear pool, in which I fully immerged myself. (I have proof but you won't see proof)

Busy morningRun to ParkRun on my own. Met up with my wife and son. We all did ParkRun. I jogged round with my son for his PB (out of 2 attempts so far) and my wife came 4th in her age category and 20th woman overall. Then I ran home by which time it was **even hotter**

With most of my runs being up and down the hills of Sheffield, the Lincolnshire coast is refreshingly flat.
It feels like half of Munich was #running in the last weekend's SportScheck RUN. There was over 6200 people just at the half marathon + many more at the 10k and 5k.
It's great to see so many people running at once. The event is very welcoming to people every level.
I just hit the 5,000 kilometers mark for this calendar year with my morning run. The last two weeks were so filled with work, I didn’t realize this was coming. #Running #applewatchultra2
A long morning run in what turned out to be headwinds and light rain. I struggled, but I got through it.
Several milestones reached today. 3,000 km covered since April 1, 2023, when I took up #running again. My 299th run in that same period. And it was the 20th consecutive week of doing a half-marathon (or longer).
To infinity and beyond. You've got this.
Here we go (up) again
Got out of bed early today to do my final taper workout. The race tomorrow is a B-goal for this year and I am curious how I am doing performance wise. Last weeks I added some more threshold work to my training and increased the base pace slightly. I hope this will result in a bit higher average pace tomorrow.

Hole in the ground? Or adventure recovery center?
Yes, and...yes!
Medieval dry dock in the heart of #Stockholm.
Wanna get out there, but don't have the time?
Need to feel a little chill, in the heat of summer?
We got you covered!

The Garmin training plan mandated a rest day today. But the weather was too nice not to go outside and play. To avoid using up all my energy for Sunday's Trail Run, I took a seriously easy bike ride this afternoon .

❝The point isn’t always to get somewhere, or to understand everything, or to measure the outcome. Sometimes it’s just to be in it. To feel the cold water. To flail a little. To accept the mystery.

In between WSER/Lavaredo and this weekends Hardrock there was also Badwater135 this week.
Ironically Norwegian Simen Holvik won this year while the temps reached 50C… found him on YouTube and his Infrared cube sauna for heat training.
But the most amazing performance is by Bob Becker. Finishing in 45h at age 80. Oldest finisher now.
And Danny Weestergaard is only 2 finishes away from reaching the 20 finishes that Marshall Ulrich has.
Their results database is top notch…

Still can't run, so... gym time, strength training, and easy elliptical. Getting my X-rays tomorrow. Kinda hope it’s a fracture. At least that’d be clear and simple. I’m done with weird stuff. I’m not gonna keep getting injections without even knowing what’s really going on.
Oh, and I had some cake and thought of you, @Lee6

Let's break on through to the
other valley. In the redheaded moutain ranges.
Wanted to be very lazy today to save legs, by taking a 2nd cablecar.
Unfortunately it was out of order so I added 5k and 700m EG for a total of 21k and 2000mEG
12m/k average moving pace all in z1 z2. Took a lot of time trying to avoid the big ugly ski tracks in favour of small trails in the middle of the rocks and around lakes.
The older teenage kid and I had some fun with a climbing harness in the trees this afternoon. We also enjoyed a 170m long zip line.
Not #trailrunning nor #running maybe slightly #climbing related. A #viaferatta is less wobbly and shaky.
