I've received more SMS spam than ever since the "Likely Spammer" label was introduced by Comreg.

Including a new one this morning about rescheduling a DPD delivery, which weirdly doesn't appear on my phone, but only on my Watch as a notification...

I swear they are attempting to solve this in the most bare minimum way possible and yet... they are still failing.

With great power, comes lack of responsibility - I can totally see this be used to automate those scam call centers, where you won't hear an accent anymore. The scam calls will become harder to distinguish from real deal, more if this is an AI voice from some legit service.

I get it, you want your own Jarvis. But somewhere, is someone thinking about exploiting those less tech inclined. I've fallen once to a scam call. It was a simple strategy: check who the speakers are for a conference. Call them saying they are from that conference and they need to confirm a hotel room for us and to secure that room. Everything seemed legit. It wasn't.
