𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑯𝒂𝒓𝒑𝒆𝒓<p>Good morning all! Today is supposed to be the worst day of our current heat dome. Base temperature is 98°F with humidity over 75%. Together it will feel hotter than 110°F but the moisture makes cooling off impossible. I'm working inside fortunately but if you're outside for whatever reason, drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks. This type heat can hurt you. Josh Renaud<p>Biked the St. Louis Riverfront Trail to work this misty morning. This trail *should* and could be a jewel of the city, but it is marred by access issues, and people abusing it. For example, today I rode past a burning truck near the tree line between the trail and the river. This group near <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/StLouis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>StLouis</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Missouri" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Missouri</span></a> is somehow managing to provide detainees in <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/ICE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ICE</span></a> facilities with "care packages" that include toiletries, underwear, and other essentials that will not be provided by ICE.
