Back from a hike in the woods. The weather was a bit unstable today, I got several intense rain showers, but I found shelter for each of them without adjusting my route at all - couldn't have planned that better if I had planned it...

I return to this place time and again and it never fails to work its peaceful charm on me. When the sun shines and the light hits the leaves and the water I find it soothing and exhilarating. I cannot be anything other than calm and full of joy.

I hope everyone has a place like this where they can be alone and know what the world can be. This place is about 300 metres away from a bustling car park. I have never met a soul here.

7 de Julho é dia mundial do chocolate 🍫😋 mas sabias que o chocolate é feito a partir deste fruto? O cacau nasce em clima tropical e é composto por uma casca grossa mas relativamente fácil de cortar e de grãos envoltos por uma massa branca muito doce (directamente comestível). Também se costuma fazer suco (sumo) a partir dela. Os grãos que são as amêndoas do cacau, são depois torrados, colocados em sacas e vendidos no mercado. As fábricas moem as amêndoas seguindo-se o processo de fabrico do chocolate. A maior parte do chocolate que se vende (Nestlé e companhia) têm muito pouca percentagem de cacau e muita de açúcar, por isso não é saudável comer essas coisas regularmente 😬 vê sempre qual é a % de cacau no verso da embalagem, há muita marca que já fabrica até perto de 100%
