Eugenia L<p>The best <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/music" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>music</span></a> experience we ever had was a 1st gen <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/AppleTV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AppleTV</span></a> with an <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/iPod" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>iPod</span></a> to control it. It worked great!</p><p>Now we have another hi-fi system with an audio <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/chromecast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>chromecast</span></a>. <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Jellyfin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Jellyfin</span></a> & <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/emby" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>emby</span></a> were absolute dogs on this Raspberry Pi 3B+ with 1 GB RAM, swapping.</p><p>Finally, I installed today <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Navidrome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Navidrome</span></a>. Much faster than Jellyfin, and the whole OS+server uses now 200 MB of RAM only.</p><p>I only had to buy <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Symfonium" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Symfonium</span></a> to cast with it, because the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/foss" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>foss</span></a> apps were just terrible.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/raspberrypi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>raspberrypi</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/dietpi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>dietpi</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/opensource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>opensource</span></a></p>
