Update. I just got a bullying email from another blue group, #MarchOnPac. It asks me "one last time" to click that I stand against Trump. It says "RESPONSE MISSING" twice, both in all-caps, once in boldface and once in blinking white letters inside a big red box. Unsubscribed.

I'm naming names because I want to deter this behavior. I want more effective coalition building -- much more effective coalition building. Maybe we can't recruit every voter appalled by Trump. But we can avoid unforced errors like treating potential allies as flunkies who owe clicks to every self-appointed group.

He may talk rubbish but Trump has an eye for beauty, and that is a breath of fresh air

I occasionally look at a Jenkins article and quickly realise why I have not for quite a long time. I suppose it s akin to getting a booster vaccination. Afetr all this is a Brexit supporting eejit who denies the usefulness of maffematiks.

The Guardian · He may talk rubbish but Trump has an eye for beauty, and that is a breath of fresh airBy Simon Jenkins

I just got an email from #BlueAmpAction, one of the many groups that shares my politics, asks for my money, and had (until today) probationary access to my inbox. This one went too far.

"DO YOU APPROVE OF DONALD TRUMP? [Yes/No/Unsure]…If we don’t receive your response, we may have to assume that you support Donald Trump’s anti-democracy actions."

PS: I unsubscribed. Message to BlueAmpAction: Assume what you like. Message to fellow travelers: Don't try to guilt, bully, or insult me. I'll lock you out. That is not how to build a winning coalition. I want to build a winning coalition more than any group using those tactics.

@gtbarry That's #clickbait , not worth reading.

Clickbait ist allgegenwärtig. 🎯

There. I fixed it for you. The original was:
