If there are millions of devices with residential ips scraping my service it is effectively a #ddos a malicious act and it makes me and my friends really angry. Now if we are forced to move to the dark web to use our service that we want to use, then so be it. #fuckai
Yay! Just #DDOS myself through #fedi ! I feel it's a rite of passage. For those that don't know, when you have a bunch of followers and you link to a website, mastodon, and I'm assuming others, immediately attempts to resolve that. So every hosts checks I. To your server all at once and crushes it. :-) lol but we live and learn. And we're making plans to prevent that in the future.

The International Criminal Court was hit by a cyberattack around the NATO summit.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) said it was hit by a “sophisticated and targeted” cyberattack as NATO leaders gathered in The Hague for a summit last week.
The ICC, which is based in The Hague, said it detected the incident "late last week" and had contained the threat.
