Some may wonder why #Käärijä, the Finnish contestant at #Eurovision #ESC2023, has lots of wooden pallets in his show. This is a joke understood only by Finnish-speakers! In Finnish, a European standard pallet is called "eurolava", and "lava" can mean many things all related to flat surfaces - it can also mean a stage. So "eurolava" can also mean "euro stage". The Finnish representative was chosen at #umk2023 and everyone understood from the pallets that Käärijä is aiming for the European stage.
