Blank FrankKITTYKUNST
In my travels through A'dam the other day I found a discarded cardboard box with two items in it. One was what I've posted here, a very rudimentary watercolour painting of two cats at the beach, looking out at the sea. The other item (which for a number of reasons I will not be posting here) was a large x-ray image. On the x-ray (a side angle photo of someone's torso) was the name of the subject, their age (72) and their affliction (scoliosis). I wondered how these two divergent objects came to end up together in the same box and why they were dumped onto the street for all and sundry to see. Was the elderly person with scoliosis the same person who did the painting? Was the artist a grandchild of hers or a neighbour, maybe? Perhaps they did not know each other at all.
At any rate, the more I look at this little watercolour, the more I love it. Happy #Caturday ! :-)
