#genuary2025 #genuary25 Day 25: "One line that may or may not intersect itself."
Collected my #genuary25 outputs into a post - https://headtilt.me/genuary25/
Looking back, this is the fifth year of #genuary that I've done! (although last year I was pretty busy with work and didn't achieve much).
Lots of fun as always and the community and all the outputs over the month. It's so enjoyable finding folks who use weird and wonderful techniques each year (would love to see some #Turtlestitch some year though!)

I finally have basic L-systems in my procedural art tool!
Genuary 2025 Day 25:
"One line that may or may not intersect itself"
Using Osci-Render and a L-System Lua library by "Ener-G", I am drawing a dragon curve with the Oscilloscope and raise the frequency over time.
On top I wrote an effect script in Lua for a noise-like deformation with falloff from the center
All running in realtime at audio rate!
Learned a lot today!
The sound you hear is what draws the image
#genuary21 prompt: a collision detection system.
#genuary25 prompt: one line that doesn't intersect itself.
The line segments really don't intersect. The first few seconds don't explain it, but things get more obvious later. Sound on.

I broke my rules and made something new for genuary.
Never thought much about Hilbert curves before, but yesterday's prompt: "One line that may or may not intersect itself" seemed like an invitation.
Below are order 5 (black) and 6 (red) Hilbert curves.

#genuary25 - "One line which may or may not intersect itself"
Really struggled with this one. This is a series of points in an x, y grid with a flattish z value. A slight rotational shift on the y axis makes some interesting patterns.

#genuary25 : One line that may or may not intersect itself. I decided that it would be nice to have something plottable :-) #genuary #genuary2025

#genuary25 One line that may or may not intersect itself #genuary #genuary2025
Well, to be exact, one line would be one line. So here's one polyline.
Genuary 2025 Day 25 Prompt: "One line that may or may not intersect itself."
This one was fun!! Just drawing dots (for the line) in orbital paths, with lots of noise and wandering around. The visual results looked best when it only ran briefly or for a very long time (hours and hours).
#genuary25 - One line. Here is a path that does not intersect itself, made from a line fractal. #genuary #genuary2025

one line - non-intersecting - based on gosper curve #glsl #genuary25 #genuary2025 #genuary #genart ...just an img - i wont let the codec eat this ;-P (...actually an older piece refurbished. maybe i find some time to do something new later on)
