GRK 2571 - Empires<p>African Heritage In Europe: Join a special screening of “Dahomey” and “If Objects Could Speak” on 24 July at 19:30, hosted by Kommunales Kino Freiburg (Urachstr. 40, 79102 Freiburg). Both films address the colonial appropriation of African cultural objects and pose vital questions about restitution, identity, and justice. </p><p>Afterwards, Dr. Kokou Azamede (Université Lomé, Togo) and filmmaker Elena Bauer will discuss these issues on a panel moderated by Dr. Richard Legay (ABI).
