lots of gulls and pigeons popped by today.

This Laughing Gull (Leucophaeus atricilla) cruised by at eye level while I waited on a corner in Galveston, Texas—wings wide, attitude bold. I’m pretty sure it blew right through a stop sign.

Herring Gulls
One appears to be offering food to the other, but I am not sure I believe my camera. I have only known juvenile gulls to scream and beg like brats for food, not proffer it. Anyone here who understands gulls and can help me out? Is it practicing adult behaviour, as I have seen young herons do? You can see a tiny strand of food left in his bill.
