"#Jews continue to be the most targeted religious group in the #US, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (#FBI) 2024 #HateCrime Report released on Tuesday.

1,938 anti‑#Jewish single bias #hatecrimes against 2,237 victims were recorded in 2024, representing 69 percent of all religiously-motivated incidents in the country. This was a 2% increase from 2023, where anti-Jewish hate crimes made up 67 percent of the total (or 1,832 incidents).

Of the anti-Jewish hate crimes, there were 67 cases of aggravated assault, 111 of simple assault, 672 of intimidation, 1,130 of destruction or damage, 8 arson, and 12 crimes against society.

The majority of anti-Jewish crimes came from white offenders."

The City of Greenwood's attorney feels like it's not constitutional for a hate crimes ordinance to exist here.

The attorney for Richland County, however, didn't see a problem, and thank goodness! A black man was merely jogging when a white man shouted "keep on running boy!" after firing a gun at him.

@kathimmel I did one ride with that flag before & some jerkwad called the cops on me. They told cops that I was promoting terrorism. They sent cops to my house. I sent the cops who came for that BS bigotry call/waste of taxpayers monies - on walk of shame, back to their cruiser, while shouting that they're fascist bigots who were OK ignoring my family's multiple calls about racialized hate crimes on us & 2 other POC family neighbours for over 3 years. Fuck those racist cops who ignored POC families real hate crimes against us but jumped on one call from racist white people.
