The marble features a woman’s face, river lines, and the daughter towns along its banks — a story carved in stone.
Before the stone was set, I tucked a handwritten note beneath it, to stay with it always.

This sculpture honors those who came before us and welcomes back those returning to the beginning. I had the joy of collaborating with my daughter on the design.
