:neuro: Pixy's Journey :v_bi:
#Journal of a bummed out Dutch Pixy :pixy_party: (Tuesday, 05/08/2025).

After a bit of a so-so night, where I had some short sleeps and one a wee bit longer, Bas decided that I had to get up in time to prepare the last bits of breakfast. I don't know why, but when mum is upstairs, getting dressed after her short walk with Bas, be finds that he should wake me around 7:30. He will whine a bit next to the bed, and some cuddles won't make him stop. Nope, he does that until I get up from bed. And as soon as I am up and preparing brekky for both mum and me, Bas will go into the big dog bed and, you guessed it, snooze away. But yeah, for some reason, every morning, around 7:30, it is a natural hairy alarm for me...

I prepped everything for mum, ad then fixed my own brekky. After the brekky, I got dressed. We went for a short walk with Bas before mum and I drove to Schaijk. We brought the few used and one unused syringes to the pharmacy. Then we visited the Appie and Jumbo for some groceries. When we got back, I grabbed my tablet and I wrote my journal toot. I tried to get some little chores done in the house, but there wasn't too much to do, so it didn't take a lot of time.

I grabbed my tablet again and wrote an email to a sweet friend, while mum worked some more in the garden. I felt guilty for not being able to help her... 😔 Bas was a bit restless, so with mum in the garden, I took him along for a little walk, so he could get rid of some energy while also getting some relief, in a way. I relaxed a wee bit, while mum went to tackle some of the weeds in the front garden. I brought her some iced water and then I made bread with an omelet for her.

I tried to relax a bit, while my leg and neck were giving me some troubles with the whole "being able to feel relaxed" bit. Bas joined me for a little while, trying to help with the whole "getting relaxed" bit. But when mum came back in, Bas was gone with the wind again... Mum was done with the garden, we'll according to me, not to her, and she was able to relax a bit. Then we walked with Bas, before he got his dinner. Mum and I watched some telly and then I made us some dinner. After some telly, we walked a short walk with Bas again, and then I changed into the bedtime gear.

I tried to cool my leg a bit from time to time, and I was glad when I was able to take some of my meds again. We finished season 2 od Jessica Jones and started the third and final season. When mum was ready to get to bed, we got everything ready for the next day. Mum walked with Bas, and as soon as she had gone up, Bas waited a wee bit before joining me on the bed. He cuddled a bit with me, and then he snuggled up against me and we dozed off.

I woke up a few times, until I was able to relax a bit more and I slept a wee bit longer. I heard mum taking Bas out for the short walk, and I heard them get back. I had dozed off again for a bit, when it was just past 7:30, so of course Bas had to play a whiney alarm clock again, until I decided to get up and start my day.

:pixy_party: 💜 🍀 🐾

#PixysJourney
#WeirdFolks
@weirdfolks
