Tim Krief<p>If you are a user of Kdenlive, did you ever try to use a playback speed different than 1? like 2 time speed for instance? In that case you may have heard glitchy audio. I think this is not a bug, but an implementation issue, I think Kdenlive should use timeline stretching audio scrubbing. It is a wide spread feature in modern video editors, a seemingly ubiquitous one. So much so that users can't spot that the feature is missing and just think that there is a bug. 1/2 <a href="https://framapiaf.org/tags/kdenlive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>kdenlive</span></a> <a href="https://framapiaf.org/tags/kde" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>kde</span></a></p>

Linuxiac<p>Kdenlive 25.04.3 open-source video editing software wraps up the 25.04 series with bug fixes for volume and transform effects.<br><a href="https://linuxiac.com/kdenlive-25-04-3-wraps-up-series-with-key-bug-fixes/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">linuxiac.com/kdenlive-25-04-3-</span><span class="invisible">wraps-up-series-with-key-bug-fixes/</span></a></p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/kdenlive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>kdenlive</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/videoediting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>videoediting</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/opensource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>opensource</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>linux</span></a></p>
Lime Bar<p>Trying <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/kdenlive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>kdenlive</span></a> for the first time. Surprised to find that very recent videos need transcoding. That's ok, I guess, but here's the rub. I want to sort my clips by date, but as it transcodes, it is using the transcoded file date/time which is approx "now". I need a way to sort by original clip date/time.</p>

El vídeo de hoy, editado en Kdenlive: video.anartist.org/w/sjppJBKfF

¿He conseguido hacerlo? Sí.

¿Lo he hecho como quería? No.

If you're gonna watch a video today, let it be this one!

It is horrible to see how artists are hostages of corporations in order to be able to use their tools to create. Submitting themselves to predatory practices like proprietary formats, software as a service licensing models, vendor lock-in 🤮

We have the power to change that! Support #floss projects like #Blender #Kdenlive #Krita #GIMP #Inkscape #Darktable #Ardour #Godot #Scribus #Natron #Friction #endof10 #linux

Have a ride through the #MiddletownCT #Juneteenth festival from today!

Some notes:
- I was not expecting to find this festival, but it was sure welcome! It was fun; everyone was having a good time.

- It's the first video I've published taken with an #Insta360. I plan to do more, including straight up 360 videos.

- #KdenLive has filters to work with the video files made with an Insta 360, but they're real stone knives and bear skins level stuff. It WORKS, but... easily your last resort.

- Insta360 Studio (a Windows app provided by Insta360) works well with #Wine, and is what I used here to create this video.

- The Insta360 exposes the contents of the SD card when you mount it. You get two files per recording, both ISO Media, MPEG v4 system, 3GPP JVT AVC: an LRV file (a low res preview), and an INSV file that contains two video streams for each lens (forward/backward) along with gyro data, I think.

- This is right out of the camera with no retouching by me. (!) Though as I understand it you can set it to a Log mode and get raw footage.

I found something shocking tonight on #kdenlive. It really shows if an app is thought out well or not.

So, when you go fullscreen, it's not really fullscreen, due to the play bar at the bottom. So when you have a 1080p video on 1080p monitor fullscreen, it's never 1:1. This is a major no-no for professional work due to the softness of the resizing algorithm.

As for #Shotcut, it has no multi-monitor support anymore & doesn't have fullscreen at all.

Hab aufgegeben.
