Ah, I'm lucky I never deleted all emails from Academia.edu, there are many valuable journals and papers that I haven't read yet.
It took MUCH longer than I'd hoped, but finally, the #Canadian government sorted my official #papers and I now have a #CertificateOfCitizenship, dated back to my birthday in 1979.
I am, and always have been, a #canuck.
TLDR. I got my official notice back in early March, but they misspelled my last name, and so it's taken us nearly six weeks to get the darned thing switched to my actual name.
You wouldn't believe the relief, especially since my birth country (UK) has become the United Kingdom of TERFs, and my other country of citizenship (US) is equally unhappy about my existence.
Triple Citizenship is a blessing, but also a curse.
In the beautiful world of collaboration, I leave on holidays for 10 days, and mostly every project or task I was working on got moved forward considerably by others, with barely nothing being blocked on me. Thank you everybody

I've checked out @bluebuild tonight, and I find it really, really cool. I'm now running a system with:
- The official* set of #GNOME Core apps installed by default, most of them as Flatpaks from #Flathub
- * #Showtime and #Papers instead of their old counterparts, and #Decibels
- The full GNOME wallpaper collection supplanting Fedora's branded ones
- No Firefox RPM
- No Fedora Flatpak repository
Anyone else using the image would in theory get the same experience out of the box. Pretty neat!
