Drawing on insights provided by an Amazonian myth, <a href="https://c.im/tags/ChrisKnight" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ChrisKnight</span></a> argues that the decisive changes occurred much earlier than Graeber and Wengrow suppose.
