“The only way to fully appreciate the power of group ritual is to participate in one.” Pagan circles play a vital role in sustaining community within a minority faith. They offer belonging, mentorship, and shared ritual, spaces where Pagans can connect, learn, and grow together. I'm writing a fictional article. The focus is on elderly millenials; specifically about how they were given all the tools and talent of the boomer generation without any of the unspoken assumptives such as low inflation, accessible credit, institutional support, and breathing room for a misstep or two, amongst others.

I'm calling it 20th Century Refugees.

I'm pleased how it's turning out, but it hurts my soul.

Boomers and GenXers really, truly did shout "fuck you, got mine," huh?

I’ve been trying over the last few days to get some new piano licks under my fingers in an effort to expand my soloing vocabulary. This is Bill Evans-inspired one over a ii-V-I.

I’ve usually found practice with a metronome and working through different keys a fairly tedious process but this has been a surprisingly fun and satisfying process as I feel like I’m starting to see some results and starting to hear new lines in my head.
