I bought the RP5 because my Anbernic RG Arc isn't powerful enough for #Dreamcast, #GameCube and #PSP, but I can't really fit all the games I want for those systems on my 512GB sdCard so I bought a 1tb one. That ought to be big enough to fit all the #PS1 and #N64 games too! I might throw my #SegaSaturn games on there too just to be a completionist.

I got #Rocknix installed on my #RetroidPocket5. But it's #PSP emulator doesn't accept .7z files so I've got to decompress my whole collection and convert them to .chd files. Also, the Dreamcast .chd files I built from redumped bin+cues aren't compatible with #FlyCast so I've got to convert all of those to .gdi then re-chd them. I hope Launch ox doesn't lose all my favorites when I switch the files 😖

Pirating games is a lot of work!

I finished Final Fantasy Tactics on the PSP today! It's a really good game. Very frustrating, though. I ended up putting it down several times over the course of playing it.

Instead of posting a multi-post review of it, I just put that same writeup on my knowledge repo. Spoilers for a nearly 30 year old game, though. knowledge.rachelbrindle.com/ga

Ok, compare and contrast; the first shot is of the Mega Drive’s Mega Bomberman, the second the PC Engine’s Bomberman ‘94. ‘94 has much more vibrant graphics, and I that river isn’t animated on the Mega Drive version, but is on the PC Engine version. The music does sound quite lethargic however. Maybe there’s a setting in the emulator I can play around with.

Well whaddayaknow, I’m on my PSP again. I needed to get away from my warm PC and sit outside for a bit. I’ve gone for one of my old faves, Mega Bomberman. I’ve also got a PC Engine emulator on here with Bomberman ‘94 which I think is pretty much the same game, I might do a quick comparison and see if there’s much difference, if any (apart from Bomberman ‘94 being in Japanese).
