For anyone who fancies using Yunohost, it really, really, really doesn’t want to be behind a reverse proxy. I’ve tried with both Traefik and Caddy. If your needs are simple (couple of machines behind a public IP is my scenario) then routing all web traffic to the Yunohost server is the way to go. You can then use the “redirect” app to reverse proxy from Yunohost. For now I just need to expose some very simple sites and it seems to work 🤞 #Yunohost #Caddy #ReverseProxy

Decided to install Yunohost on a spare (chunkyish) machine here at home. Most of the install has gone well but having trouble with accessing the machine through the domain versus local IP. It’s something to do with my reverse proxy (caddy) and TLS termination which I’m not great at! Didn’t stop me throwing a few hours at it 😁

New treat incoming: I played around with #Podman and #Nginx as a #ReverseProxy. And as usual I ended up creating a new vagrant-libvirt setup...

One container running as a server (with a very valuable index.html...) and another container as reverse proxy.

Two branches, one with quadlets (where everything worked out of the box) and another running "normal" containers.

@FediVideo @spielUndSpass @owncast @Hamish @Mrfunkedude maybe! I joined the Rocket.Chat got some good starting advice. I'm missing some parameters in my #Nginx #reverseproxy that might be affecting browser performance/behavior. It's worth trying out and seeing if that fixes it. If anyone can collect useful debug info from their browser, it's at vkmphotos.com:8080. Just turn off the audio!!
