Christof Schöch<p>Statistics on <a href="https://fedihum.org/tags/electric" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>electric</span></a> vehicle use per country [1] are one thing, but first-hand experience is quite another! </p><p>Comparing <a href="https://fedihum.org/tags/HongKong" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>HongKong</span></a> and closeby <a href="https://fedihum.org/tags/Shenzen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Shenzen</span></a> recently, the difference is stark! </p><p>HKG has excellent public transport, but streets are narrow and full of loud and smelly buses (alongside many cars). </p><p>Shenzen has lots of traffic as well, but streets are wider and all scooters, all buses, and most cars are electric.
