Up to 10x faster in the dyno – your powerful Swiss Heroku alternative. 💪 Because with us you don't get slow, expensive low-tier dynos, but no «noisy neighbours» and fast containers. 🧨 Our buildpack and Dockerfile flexibility is more modern than well-known solutions that only offer Docker support via a cumbersome container registry. You want power, data security, Swissness and everything as easy as possible? Then send us your code, we'll do the rest. 🚀 #appengine #fast #secure #simple #deploio

Stupid #Linux / #Unix question - honest answers please! :boost_ok:

Why not shove all configuration files in a git?

  • Obviously not the ones that actually matter like id_rsa and/or some other private keys / certificates...

But like regular #SystemConfiguration files.

  • In all seriousness noone should actually do this with a public git but then again noone puts their Ansible public either.

What did I miss with my train of thought, folks?

What I really like about #DeltaChat / #Chatmail :
- no read receipts (optional)
- delete history/automatically delete (optional)
- save messages only on the device
- super easy setup (really! super easy!)
- no need to save credentials (but it's better to save them if you want to reinstall things often)
- easy setup for the second device. Just click on "Add second device"
- chatmail is super easy to maintain. No group admins make it even easier!
- desktop and Android app
