Undeterred, the team instead focused on finding ancient squid beaks—hard mouthparts with high fossilization potential that could help the team figure out how squids evolved. With that in mind, the team developed an advanced fossil discovery technique that completely digitized rocks with all their embedded fossils in complete 3D form. Upon using that technique on Late Cretaceous rocks from Japan, the team identified 1,000 fossilized cephalopod beaks hidden inside the rocks, which included 263 squid specimens and 40 previously unknown squid species...

#guix friends. So I'm beginning to work on building my router VM using GUIX. Some things I want are documented as guix services. Example: #yggdrasil so I can add that as part of (services ...)

but for example I want a #squid proxy, and I don't see a services definition in the manual. How do I ensure

1) ensure squid starts at boot, and remains running

2) specify the contents of /etc/squid/squid.conf from the GUIX declarative config? (I have the text already from an existing config)

This Elusive #Antarctic #Squid Was Seen for the First Time
An expedition in the #SouthernOcean captured video of a rare species of deep-sea #cephalopod. Until now, it had been found only in fishing nets and in the bellies of seabirds.
This particular dive was part of the #NationalGeographic and #Rolex Perpetual Planet Expedition, an initiative to document #climatechange in the mountains, rainforests and #oceans.
