#WIPWednesday Bakewell Old House went to the photographers yesterday for prints. I thought I'd share how I mount my work. Rather than lacing over a board (such a faf!) I stretch the fabric over acid free, 5mm foam board. Pinning into the sides, I can adjust until it'ssquare. I'll remove the bobble head pins before framing just leaving the T pins, which lie flat.

Next Step. The 80ties called and want their rocailles back. Maybe I went a little bit haywire with them - but I love sewing these Kanzashi flowers and really like the effect of the strings of glass beads. (Washed the fabric, before that I replaced the pencil drawing with a basted seam that will go later too.)
