The #ultrarunning side of me wants you to know about my Arizona Monster 300 video premiering tonight on YouTube, but the #videoediting side of me wants to share timeline screenshots. #fcpx
No big trickiness: I doubled-up audio clips a few times to help with bad audio, and I mostly avoided actually using Multicam clips. I used Audjust to remix many of the tracks to the timing I needed, but I also did some quick easy music edits of my own.

(As noted in the article, CDE isn't really secure to use anymore as a daily driver due to lack of development, but it's good for some nostalgia purposes)

Installed #Fedora 42 for my nephew. Dual boot. Very happy with it after getting audio fixed.
But here's an interesting anti-oops. The camera app loads with this gnarly data corruption, it records fine and clean and looks fine in big blue button but live feed shows bits of the video feed interleaved with corruption.
But here's the thing, he's into video editing and this is him recording his teeth opening and closing in between all the data. See next toot for video.

#MarkethingMonday Book trailer! Haven't edited anything for a while and I'd forgotten how much fun it is.
I've uploaded closed captions and hopefully will have an AD version as well but I need to talk to the AD folk at work to make sure I've done it properly.
So, anyone fancy some hedgehog shifter fiction? Full of colourful characters and sarcastic remarks?
Appreciate any shares.

How-To Geek: These 10 YouTube Channels Turned Me Into a Video Pro. “Take it from me, finding the right YouTuber can make all the difference when you’re learning how to edit video. The problem is, there are so many video editing channels on YouTube that it can be hard to sift through the fluff. I have an idea for an #analoghorror series now.
It's bubbling in my head, as I realized watching the the squirrel video that it has the found footage vibe going, and felt like an intro to something insane.
I have gotten quite good at making my #videos look like they're on film or VHS.
I was thinking of making a series where it gets progressively more disturbing, and less funny as it goes on.
I have some ideas.
More are welcome.
