Common eastern bumblebee, aka pocket panda
Plants are Fukushu kumquat (Citrus obovata) and pitanga-juba (Eugenia repanda)
I neglected to mention on a previous post that the pitanga-juba flowers smell like jasmine!
A lovely lotus flower that looks like a tulip.
I saw hope in the lotus flowers shining even in the deep dark forest.

This is one of my red hybrid jabuticaba’s second flush this summer (after winter/spring). I can’t get a pic of all the flower buds in two shots but it is safe to say that it now outcompetes tomatoes in size/production/nutrition.
I highly recommend this plant for food security in a changing climate. Thread below:
