@csantosb @sacha you can also use public-inbox to synchronize a fully local clone of the entire mailing list history, keep it automatically current with git-maintenance, read it locally over NNTP with gnus, and have any replies you compose *to your local list clone* get routed to the named recipients and the list automatically via mu4e/smtpmail, with no additional config!
(I also have gitwatch set up to continuously commit and push my newsrc.eld file to my backup machine, just in case)
