I have to admit that when I think of #SoftwareArchitecture, the #BBC isn't the 1st thing that comes to my mind. But I've learnt over the years that the #BBC is an incredibly innovative public broadcaster.
And so at #QConLondon I enjoyed a very impressive talk by Mathew Clark and Ian Arundale, both software architects at the BBC, about the key cornerstones of the architecture that enables the BBC to handle millions of pageviews, driven not only by software but also by organizational change.
