The volume down on Child A's cheap little music player doesn't work anymore, it just squashes inwards. Let's see if I can fix that. The first tricky part is forcing the back open with some spudgers. I always hate this part because I never know what the correct amount of force is to get it open without breaking some snap fitting.

A neighbor harvested some 18500 LiFePo4 cells from their garden walkway lights, but didn't know what to do with them. They all still have a proper charge (~3.2 V), but I'm not sure how I would recharge them if I wanted to use them in a project.

They can't be charged with a lithium ion charger, so I'm not sure what I should do with these. Anyone have any suggestions for an inexpensive charger I can buy, or a circuit I can assemble on perfboard?

If you're the person who spunked £500 down and properly outbid me on the CSI / CSA Transputer Education Kit on Ebay UK a few weeks ago, I have just one question...

... can I please have a copy of the software disks, and some photos of the ISA card?

If you can't do mastodon, my email address is on philpem.me.uk/contact .

Kącik buraczanego renowatora amatora prezentuje: kalkulator Elwro 144, rocznik 1983 (więc mój rówieśnik) z niektórymi częściami z roczników '81 i '82.

Can anyone please give me advice on finding a reputable seller of Li-ion batteries in the UK?

I want to replace the battery in a solar floodlight. It uses 4 ICR18650 cells at 7.4Vdc, and I'd rather buy a pre-balanced battery pack because I haven't worked with Li-ion before.
