Have you gotten a chance to see our #PyOhio 2025 videos?
We had an excellent opening #keynote from Abigail Mesrenyame Dogbe on the importance of community engagement, and we couldn't agree more!

The connections we make each year in the #Python community help us to learn and grow even more. In addition, Abigail has also recently been elected to the Python Software Foundation Board. Congratulations!

Please check out Abigail's keynote on YouTube!

We are thrilled to share that the Greater Cleveland Partnership has selected PyOhio as an Honoree of the 2025 Best of Tech Award!

Our own @asx was there to represent #PyOhio as well as @clepy. We've been happy to be a part of the #Cleveland tech community for the past several years, and we're looking forward to hosting PyOhio 2026 again there next year! You can see all our other fellow honorees here! greatercle.com/blog/gcp-news/f

We've gone live with the #PyOhio 2026 website, and with it, our new Sponsor Prospectus is available to review. For 2026 we're offering new tiers of sponsorship as well as speaking opportunities for #sponsors. While run by volunteers, events like PyOhio wouldn't be possible without the generous contributions of our sponsors, so please consider sponsoring or requesting that your employer sponsor us to make 2026 the best PyOhio ever!

I recently gave a talk at #PyOhio 2025 called "Organizing and Maintaining
Your Code-scape with Python," the idea of a code-scape being that there are many resources to support organizing code at the line-by-line level and the software or project level, but comparatively few for data scientists, developers, etc. for things like organizing the file system and syncing multiple machines. Another #PyOhio is in the books, and now is the time to rest and reflect. While the organizers take a break before gearing up for next year, we’d love to hear your stories from #PyOhio2025. Did you meet someone new, or see an inspiring talk? Are you considering starting a new project of your own? Let us know here or email us at communications@pyohio.org!

We hope you get to enjoy a break of your own, and we look forward to seeing you next year!

#PyOhio 2025 was fantastic! We're excited for PyOhio 2026 on July 25-26!

PyOhio is able to secure our venue for 2026 thanks to Meta's sponsorship. This is the first time in years that we've been able to announce dates for the conference a year in advance.

It was great getting to speak with Danny Yang, Aaron Pollack, and Abby Mitchell from Meta about Pyrefly, (pyrefly.org/pyohio2025/) about the ways Meta helps the community thrive by supporting the long term success of #Python and PyOhio.

Me: Now that I've actually given my #PyOhio talk I should probably spin up a new project to work on.
