Smartwatch mit GrapheneOS oder CustomRom verwenden.

Wer hat damit Erfahrung, nutzt es selbst oder kennt eine Person die eine Smartwatch mit einem Smartphone verbunden hat, welches mit GrapheneOS oder einem CustomRom wie /e/OS etc. läuft.

Bitte um einen kurzen Erfahrungsbericht.
Was geht?
Was geht nicht?
Worauf muss man achten?
Was ist zu empfehlen?

In einem meiner Beiträge kam es in den Kommentaren zu dieser Frage und ich kenne mich da gar nicht aus. Deshalb Frage ich die lieben Menschen im Fediverse 🙂

Dopo ormai 8 anni di onorato servizio (e due batterie cambiate), è arrivato il momento di pensionare il mio attuale #telefono. Ho già qualche idea su come riutilizzarlo ma non potrà più assolvere al compito di dispositivo principale.

Per il sostituto, la mia scelta è ricaduta, in ordine, su #Fairphone, #Pixel e #Motorola (principalmente usati). Questi godrebbero anche del supporto di svariate #CustomROM. Cosa consigliate? Altri suggerimenti sono ben accetti.

And it was fine! I reflashed the official e/OS ROM and checked if I could safely relock the bootloader with "fastboot flashing get_unlock_ability" during fastboot mode. It booted :)
Now I got e/OS running!!! First thing I did was whether my bank app would run (wasn't listed in the documentation) but it is! Now I'm completely happy!

Next steps are installing and transferring all the stuff and installing a custom launcher.

Google informiert seine Nutzer/innen, dass sie ab sofort durch die KI Gemini unterstützt werden - ob sie es wollen oder nicht. Gemini erhält dafür Zugang zu allen Apps, auch zu verschlüsselnden Messengern. Lokal liegen die Inhalte ja im Klartext vor, und darauf will Gemini zugreifen. Ist das der Anfang von Quellen-TKÜ (vulgo Chatkontrolle)? Googles Vorstoß riecht ziemlich streng nach Salami-Taktik in diese Richtung.
