SDOT needs a goddamn intervention
Early data shows Seattle halved pedestrian deaths and had zero bicycling deaths in 2024
I have no idea how this happened. As some comments suggest, moving violations have become more rampant in the last couple of years as we "come out of" the pandemic. I mean it's great news, but I don't want #SDOT to slow down their work because of this.

Did you know that in #Seattle if you want to see the actual concrete plans for an #SDOT project to redesign or modify a street you have to register as a "vendor" in the city's bid system to even SEE those documents? They aren't just publicly posted to the project page.
Anyway I registered myself as a "Consultant" (I seem to have lost my old account) and downloaded the docs for the 15th Ave S & Beacon Ave Safety Project.
