At the beginning of the month, the Greek Parliament passed a measure to stop #asylum applications from North African countries for three months.

Greece's far-right Migration Minister #Plevris says that the path for people fleeing their countries is now “either to prison or back to their country.”

We call on the Greek Government to immediately withdraw this illegal legislation and demand freedom of movement for all!

An #asylum officer determined in July that Sayed Naser faces a credible fear of persecution or torture if deported, acc/to McGoldrick, & made him eligible to reapply for asylum. He remains in #ICE custody at the Otay Mesa Detention Center in San Diego.
