@charlesgaba @renewedresistance Absolutely true, except that the statewide ticket is not going to be hurting for money, and — as NYC has shown us — the money race and the vote race are not necessarily the same thing.

The NYC Democratic primary won't fully be decided until the ranked choice votes are sorted next Tuesday. But it looks like Zohran Mamdani will be the Democratic candidate for mayor of New York in the November election. In March I hadn't even heard of him and he was polling in single digits.
